Terms of Service for SolarCo Energy
Welcome to SolarCo Energy. These Terms and Conditions govern your purchase and installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and related services from SolarCo Energy (“we,” “us,” or “SolarCo”). By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Program Name and Description
SolarCo Energy SMS Program
By opting into the SolarCo Energy SMS program, you will receive messages related to your solar system installation, service updates, promotional offers, and important company announcements.
2. SMS Messaging Terms

You may cancel SMS messages at any time by texting STOP to our shortcode. After confirmation, you will no longer receive messages.

To rejoin the program after opting out, simply sign up again through the initial enrollment process.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

3. Agreement and Scope of Work
This Agreement is between SolarCo Energy and you (“Customer”). It includes:

The purchase and installation of the solar PV system as described in your signed Quote.

Delivery, installation, and commissioning of the system at your premises.

Compliance with all applicable laws, building codes, and utility requirements.
4. Pricing and Payment

The price quoted is valid for 7 days from the date of the Quote.

Pricing includes applicable rebates but excludes any electricity meter or grid upgrade costs, which are payable directly to your utility.

A deposit is required upon signing the Quote.

The balance is due within 48 hours of installation completion and acceptance.

Payments can be made via the methods specified in the Quote.

If a payment is declined, SolarCo may require alternative payment or terminate the Agreement with applicable penalties.
5. Customer Responsibilities

Provide access to the installation site on the agreed date and keep the area clear of obstructions.

Remove any objects (trees, plants, etc.) that may cast shadows on the solar system at your expense.

Complete all documentation required for system connection and rebate processing.
-
Obtain any necessary permissions or permits before installation.
-
Pay any additional costs if installation expenses increase by more than 5% due to factors beyond SolarCo’s control.
6. Installation and Warranty

All installations will be performed by licensed professionals following industry standards such as the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) and local regulations.

SolarCo warrants workmanship for 10 years post-installation.

Solar modules and inverters come with manufacturer warranties typically covering 25 years of performance.

SolarCo will remove debris and leave the premises clean after installation but is not responsible for landscaping.
7. Liability and Insurance

SolarCo maintains insurance coverage including general liability and workers’ compensation as required by law.

We are not liable for delays caused by third parties, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.

Carriers and wireless providers are not liable for SMS message delivery issues.
8. Termination and Disputes

You may terminate this Agreement by written notice before installation begins.

If installation cannot proceed due to site conditions or lack of required permissions, SolarCo may suspend or terminate the Agreement with refund of deposits minus any incurred costs.

Payment withholding is only allowed with prior written notice specifying reasons and amounts.
9. Legal Compliance and Industry Standards

SolarCo complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Our installations meet or exceed standards set by recognized bodies such as MCS and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
By signing the Quote or engaging SolarCo Energy’s services, you acknowledge and accept these Terms and Conditions.
